We’re so glad you’re considering bringing one of my artworks into your home or collection. These policies are designed to make the process transparent. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Shipping Information
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of the artwork. Any duties, taxes, or customs fees for international orders are also the buyer’s responsibility.
Return Policy and Process
I truly hope you love the artwork you choose. If for any reason it doesn’t feel quite right, I’m happy to offer a return window on eligible pieces.
Eligibility
You may return most items within 7 days of receipt, as long as the artwork is in its original, undamaged condition and repackaged carefully.
Limited-edition prints must include all certificates of authenticity and supporting documents.
Original paintings and commissioned works are final sale and not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or there was an error with the order.
How to Return
Please reach out to me within 7 days at yona@yonaverwer.com with your order number and a brief note about your return.
I’ll provide clear return instructions. Returns must be sent via a trackable, insured shipping method.
Once I receive and inspect the piece, I’ll process your refund or exchange within 7–10 business days.
You are kindly asked to cover the cost of return shipping (unless the artwork arrived damaged or incorrect). Insuring the return shipment is strongly recommended.
Refund and Dispute Policy
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned artwork has been received and inspected.
Shipping and handling fees are generally non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to damage during transit or an error on our end.
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
Resolving Concerns Your satisfaction matters deeply to me. If anything feels off with your order, please contact me directly first; I’m here to listen and find a fair solution. Should we be unable to resolve an issue together, we follow standard New York State and U.S. consumer protection laws. Chargebacks may affect eligibility for future purchases until resolved.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your order, please let me know as soon as possible — ideally within 24 hours of purchase, and before the artwork has been shipped or prepared for shipping.
Simply email me with your order number, and I’ll do my best to accommodate the cancellation. Cancellations requested after this window may not be possible; in those cases, the Return Policy applies once you receive the piece.
Please note that custom or commissioned works cannot be cancelled once work on them has begun.
Legal & Export Restrictions
As a New York-based artist, all sales are subject to the laws of the United States and the State of New York.
International Shipments When shipping abroad, buyers are responsible for complying with all import, export, customs, and tax regulations in their country. Any duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges are not included in the purchase price and remain the buyer’s responsibility.
I’m happy to provide certificates of authenticity and provenance documents to support your shipment. However, approval by foreign customs authorities cannot be guaranteed.
By completing your purchase, you confirm that acquiring and importing the artwork fully complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
